Škoda x Milan Design Week 2025: Where Art Meets Innovation

During Milan Design Week, I had the chance to return to my student-city  and to experience the stunning Škoda exhibition at the Padiglione di Arte Contemporanea. The star of the show was the all-new Škoda Elroq RS, making its physical debut and showcasing the brand’s fresh Modern Solid design language—sleek, bold, and forward-thinking.

What made the space unforgettable were the art installations by Italian sculptor Marcantonio, who brought the exhibition to life through playful and symbolic sculptures.
A graceful flamingo represented movement, a streetlight shaped like a snowdrop mixed elegance with whimsy, and a giant raccoon with glowing eyes projected dreamy driving scenes onto a screen.

The entire pavilion felt like a journey. A winding path guided visitors through the pieces, each telling its own story, connected by themes of exploration, freedom, and future mobility. Marcantonio’s concept turned the space into more than just a car display—it became an emotional experience.

Whether you’re into cars, design, or just beautiful spaces, this event was a perfect example of how automotive innovation and contemporary art can meet in the most creative ways.
