Spending a few days (and my birthday) at Hotel Solvie (part of the Winklerhotels family) felt like hitting pause on the world. Nestled in the heart of South Tyrol, this elegant and modern retreat offers everything your body and mind crave: calm, comfort, and a touch of indulgence.
From the moment you step in, there’s this warm, luxurious stillness. The design is very modern and natural, blending alpine charm with clean, modern lines. The real highlight? The spa. Long, slow afternoons were spent floating between the panoramic saunas, steam baths, and the outdoor infinity pool with views that made me forget my phone exists.
Food at Hotel Solvie is just as dreamy and important. Think regional ingredients, creative twists, and beautiful presentation. Breakfasts were a ritual (until 11:30am!) and we really enjoyed starting our days this relaxed. Dinners were slow and thoughtful, with multiple courses that felt like a celebration of local flavour. In between, we wandered through the peaceful mountain surroundings or just stayed in our robes a little longer—because here, there’s no rush.
