Things have been feeling a bit more grounded lately, in a way I didn’t really plan, but I’m really grateful for.
Running has become more consistent again since I took a little break from it after the 5k a day challenge in 2025. Nothing impressive, no training plan I’m obsessing over, for now it's just me
getting out the door and running. Some days it feels light, other days it feels like work, but either way it clears my head in a way I don’t get anywhere else.
Swimming has also quietly become one of my favourite activities, and I really enjoy how everything goes quiet underwater, no noise, no pressure, just breath and movement. More hours on
the bike are also coming back with the warmer weather and it feels a little bit like the opposite of swimming in a way: being outside, covering distance, letting time stretch.
I think because of that mix, I got quite a few DMs on Instagram asking if triathlon is the next step. And I get why it makes sense, it’s basically the combination of three activities I already enjoy. But honestly, there’s nothing planned in that direction. I like where things are right now: just building consistency, enjoying each sport for what it is, without turning it into a bigger project.
And on a very practical note: I’m now driving a Škoda Octavia, because the brand is celebrating 30 years of this iconic model. It’s such a game changer to drive a car that is so versatile, sporty and spacious. Looking forward to the upcoming adventures with it, I'm sure it'll be lots of fun! :)
So yeah, no big announcements, just a softer kind of consistency. And right now, that feels like enough.
