Milan Design Week with Škoda

There’s something about Milan Design Week that makes the city feel like it’s breathing differently. Courtyards turn into experimental playgrounds, and historic buildings suddenly host the future. Also this year Škoda, for the second time after the memorable debut in 2025, returned to Milan Design Week and the brand turned the elegant Palazzo del Senato in an immersive installation that was far more than a car exhibition. The installation was created by Ricardo Orts, founder of Ulises Studio, and it turned the Palazzo into a playful, slightly surreal environment. The concept drew inspiration from modelling clay, something tactile, nostalgic, and surprisingly emotional. It wasn’t just design you looked at, it was design you felt.

At the center of it all sat the (still) camouflaged Škoda Epiq. It’s clear that Škoda is making the electric era more approachable and even playful. That idea echoed throughout the space, from the sculptural “Epiq Sculpt” to the immersive digital projections that pulled you deeper into their design philosophy. It felt like Škoda wasn’t just trying to impress the visitors, but it invited everyone to play and get creative.

This alignes perfectly with the campaign’s spirit: “Ooooh, that’s EpiQ!”, a small expression of wonder that captures the whole experience.

In a city overflowing with creativity during Design Week, Škoda managed to carve out a space that felt both grounded and imaginative at the same time.
